Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a hospital setting in Carlsbad, NM.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Active New Mexico OT license required to start the assignment. (NM licensure required.)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Minimum 1 year of recent acute care occupational therapy experience required.Ability to work hospital acute care caseloads and perform documentation in an electronic medical record system.Ability to work assigned shifts, holidays, and one Saturday per month as required by the facility.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Days.Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00; one Saturday per month; holidays required.Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other departments within the facility.Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.Location HighlightsCarlsbad offers easy access to outdoor recreation and a relaxed community lifestyle.Carlsbad Caverns National Park is approximately 18 miles southwest, providing cave tours and hiking trails within a 30-minute drive.
