Job Description SummaryThe Muskegon Plant Fulfillment Leader is responsible for all fulfillment-related activities across the Muskegon and Norton Shores locations, ensuring reliable, efficient, and customer-focused delivery performance. This is a senior level plant staff position that provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership for planning, scheduling, materials management, warehousing, and logistics, developing and executing end-to-end material and product flow processes. Partnering closely with site leadership, operations, sourcing, quality, and commercial teams, the Plant Fulfillment Leader aligns demand and capacity, improves inventory health, and drives delivery to internal and external customers. The role uses data, ERP/MRP systems, daily shop management, and standard work to optimize material flow and minimize expedites, while ensuring adherence to all applicable customer, contractual, and corporate requirements related to order fulfillment, shipping, documentation, and logistics, in support of operational excellence in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Own customer delivery performance for the site by partnering with the S&OP Leader to translate customer demand into executable production and shipment plans and driving recovery actions when risk arises.Set the strategic direction for planning and scheduling activities to align demand, capacity, and material availability, maintaining accurate data and parameters in ERP/MRP systems. Set clear priorities for the production team through build plans aligned to customer demand.Manage materials and inventory (raw, WIP, and finished goods) to meet business targets, improving inventory health and reducing shortages and excess/obsolete stock. Partner with the Sourcing and Quality teams to improve turnaround time at outside vendors (OV). Coordinate with Operations and Sourcing to set material replenishment parameters.Oversee warehousing and logistics operations, including inbound receipts, storage, material flow to the line, and outbound shipping, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.Drive continuous improvement in fulfillment processes using data and lean tools to reduce lead time, variability, past due, and expedite costs while standardizing best practices.Lead and develop a cross-functional fulfillment team (production control, materials handling, logistics) and partner closely with Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and other stakeholders to support overall plant SQDC objectives. Partner with commercial teams to understand potential demand changes, urgent customer needs, and communicate changes to production status.
