These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets, cost efficiencies, and quality standards.Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize plant efficiency and profitability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, R&D, and supply chain, to meet customer demands and drive product innovation.Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.Prepare and manage plant budgets, controlling expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operationsProven track record in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologiesDemonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performanceStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsExperience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in a manufacturing environmentBonus QualificationsLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higherExperience with a modern ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor)Demonstrated success in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiativesFluency in Spanish or another relevant second languageProject management certification (e.g., PMP)Job Titles That Should ApplyOperations Manager,Manufacturing Manager,Production Manager,Factory Manager,General Manager (Manufacturing),Site Manager (Manufacturing),Plant Superintendent,Assistant Plant Manager,Director of Operations (ManufacturingWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
