Campus Dean - BSN Program
MissionHires seeks a dynamic Campus Dean to lead the BSN Program at our Phoenix, AZ campus. The Dean will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure academic excellence, regulatory compliance, student success, and continuous program improvement while fostering a collaborative culture among faculty, staff, and stakeholders. How You'll ContributeProvide strategic leadership and direction to achieve BSN program goals and outcomesCollaborate on annual program budget; monitor expenditures, align spending with revenue, and analyze variancesLead development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the nursing curriculum and coursesOversee all BSN program components to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and outcome achievementRecruit, retain, and maintain an adequate number of qualified full-time and part-time facultyProvide effective supervision, mentorship, and professional development for faculty and staffLead faculty orientation, ongoing mentorship, and development initiativesOversee preparation for accreditation visits by programmatic accreditors and the Board of NursingPrepare and submit annual and interim reports to accrediting bodies, professional associations, and the Board of NursingFacilitate systematic program evaluation and review of curriculum, faculty, staff, students, resources, program outcomes, and communities of interestSupervise systematic collection, analysis, and use of data to evaluate and improve program outcomesRepresent the Nursing Program in college-wide meetings and committeesCollaborate with college leadership on institutional goals: student retention, graduation rates, student satisfaction, and staff retentionEngage stakeholders and communities of interest for feedback to strengthen program developmentPromote positive communication and collaboration among faculty, staff, and college personnelOversee recruitment, selection, and hiring of faculty per college policiesDemonstrate professional commitment through continuous development, professional organization participation, and service to the nursing communityTeach assigned nursing course(s) in compliance with Board of Nursing regulationsWhat Makes You a Great FitCurrent, unencumbered RN license in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)Master’s or higher degree from an accredited institution with coursework in nursing, education, or administrationMinimum two years of experience in an administrative positionMinimum two years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programsAt least two years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and/or equivalent experience as determined by the BoardDemonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented leadership styleExcellent oral and written communication skillsCommitment to diversity as defined by state lawAbility to work effectively with diverse people and institutions and build consensusProficiency with computer-based resources and academic/administrative systemsExperience in supervision, planning, budget preparation, and budget maintenance
