We pride ourselves on delivering quality audit and tax services while building a collaborative, supportive team culture.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced CPA with a strong audit background to join our accounting firm as a Senior Auditor. You will lead audit engagements from start to finish, supervise junior audit staff, and manage multiple client engagements across diverse industries. This is a hands-on role that requires ownership, independence, and a commitment to quality work.In addition to strong audit expertise, this role requires a forward-thinking mindset. Our firm is actively implementing new technologies across audit, tax, and firm-wide operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in a tech-enabled environment and demonstrate either experience with modern tools or a strong willingness to learn and adopt them quickly.We are currently using AI and automation tools across functions, including:Audit: Claude, DataSnipperFirm-wide: Claude, Karbon, AccountGrooveTax: Liscio, Gruntworx, ProSeries, Claude.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage audit engagements independently, taking ownership from initiation through completionSupervise and mentor two junior audit staff membersConduct audits for commercial and non-profit clients across various industriesManage 15-20+ concurrent audit engagements, with workload fluctuating seasonallyExecute audit work using AuditFile and AuditSight softwareCollaborate with internal tax team on integrated engagementsConduct other related accounting work (e.g., tax)Maintain regular communication with audit leadership (check-ins every other day)Stay current with audit standards, best practices, and emerging technologies impacting audit workflowsRequired QualificationsCPA license (active and in good standing)Minimum 5+ years of audit experience with a mid-to-large accounting firmProven ability to lead audit engagements independentlyExperience supervising junior staffStrong understanding of audit methodologies across multiple industriesProficiency with audit software (AuditFile or similar platforms preferred but not required)Fluent in EnglishStrong adaptability and willingness to work in a technology-driven audit environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in a mid-to-large accounting firm environmentUS GAAP and IFRS experience is a plusInterest or experience in AI tools, automation, or technology-enabled audit processes (e.g., Claude, DataSnipper, or similar tools)Flexibility to support tax work during slower audit seasonsExperience managing diverse client basesDemonstrated ability to quickly learn and implement new software tools in a professional settingKey CompetenciesOwnership mentality and ethical standardsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to take constructive feedback and incorporate itComfortable working as part of a team with regular interaction across departmentsProblem-solving and critical thinkingAdaptability to new tools, systems, and AI-driven workflowsProactive interest in improving processes through technology adoption
