Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: - Work 3x12 hour rotating day/night shifts (0700-1930 & 1900-0730) - Self-scheduling system - Patient ratios of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends - Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed - Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period - Work in both IMC and ICU units - 24 hours orientation provided - Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses - Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS - 2 years ICU experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Experience with Cerner charting system required - Must be skilled in managing ventilated patients, IV non-titratable drips, HFNC, dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis - Proficiency required in telemetry interpretation, cardiac care, wound care, central line management, and tracheostomy care - Work with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive critical care unit with 12 beds and maintains a daily census of 9 patients.
