Product Owner/Portfolio ManagerLocation: Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)Duration: 7+ monthsSeeking for a dynamic Product Owner/Portfolio Manager, involves close collaboration with business and IT management, leading cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement through performance data and user feedback.Key Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of IT products and applications, ensuring alignment with business needs.Guide products through all lifecycle stages as a Product Owner, ensuring efficiency and quality.Collaborate with various stakeholders to define product scope and identify IT-enabled solutions.Create and prioritize product backlogs and maintain roadmaps aligned with IT strategies.Oversee product releases, monitor performance, gather feedback, and manage risks.Define and track performance metrics to meet governance requirements.Manage vendor relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance targets.Oversee product financials, including budget planning and monitoring.Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs.Facilitate agile meetings and lead sprint reviews and user story development.Collaborate with Executive Technology Officers and product teams to manage product development efforts.Build and maintain strong relationships with client/business teams for successful collaboration.Must Have:5+ years in project management, including planning/managing scope, budget, timeline, and resources.2+ years in product ownership and portfolio management.5+ years in requirement elicitation, documentation, and communication between teams.5+ years of understanding the software development lifecycle and methodologies.5+ years of experience with vendor project teams and vendor management.5+ years of high-quality documentation skills.5+ years of strong communication skills across technical teams and business stakeholders.3+ years of guiding agile software development stages.3+ years in IT vendor management.
