Sr. Project Manager (Workday Adaptive Planning)
Implementation Project Manager (Workday Adaptive Planning)We are seeking an experienced Sr. Project/Program Manager to lead the stabilization and rebuild of a Workday Adaptive Planning (WDAP) environment. This role will partner closely with Finance and IT to drive ownership alignment, improve system performance, and deliver a scalable planning solution.This is a highly visible role requiring both strong project leadership and a solid understanding of FP&A systems and processes. Experience within Insurance or subscription-based business models is highly preferred.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end implementation and/or rebuild of Workday Adaptive PlanningDrive project planning, timelines, milestones, and overall delivery executionPartner with Finance (business stakeholders) and IT to establish clear ownership and governanceManage third-party vendors/partners (e.g., system integrators)Identify current system gaps and lead stabilization effortsOversee requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation phasesEnsure alignment between functional (FP&A) and technical (data/integrations) teamsTrack risks, issues, and dependencies; proactively drive resolutionFacilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive updatesSupport change management and user adoption effortsRequired Qualifications:5–10+ years of Project Management experience, including enterprise system implementationsProven experience leading Workday Adaptive Planning (WDAP) implementations or similar FP&A tools (Anaplan, Hyperion, etc.)Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesExperience working in cross-functional environments (Finance + IT)Demonstrated ability to manage system rebuilds, transformations, or stabilization effortsExperience working with or managing system integrators/consulting partnersExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a post-go-live stabilization or turnaroundsFamiliarity with data integrations, data flows, and reporting structuresPMP, Workday Adaptive Planning or similar certifications
