Poject Description:Working on a cloud-native enterprise data platform hosted on Microsoft Azure, supporting large-scale data processing, storage, and analytics workloads. The platform provides a centralized foundation for data-driven applications and services, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, automation, and operational excellence.Compensation for NYC: 140000 - 150000 USD Gross per year based on your interview results.Responsibilities:The role involves managing Kubernetes-based environments, developing automation and platform tooling in Python, implementing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include infrastructure automation, deployment standardization, monitoring and observability, performance optimization, and ensuring secure and reliable delivery of platform services in a highly regulated enterprise environment.Mandatory Skills Description:Python — Strong proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, infrastructure tooling, and building CI/CD utilities.Kubernetes — Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes including cluster management, Helm charts, service mesh (Istio), pod orchestration, troubleshooting, and production-grade deployments.CI/CD — Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliability and speed.GitLab CI/CD — Deep expertise in GitLab pipelines, including multi-stage pipelines, templates, shared runners, artifacts, and pipeline-as-code best practices.Azure Cloud — Solid knowledge of Azure services (AKS, Azure DevOps, Virtual Networks, IAM/RBAC, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor) with experience in cloud architecture and cost optimization.Nice-to-Have Skills Description:Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK)Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell)Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, ingress controllers)Incident management and on-call experience
