Working on site at the facility is required.You will be overseeing the FAA Repair team, and supporting our overall manufacturing enterprise.Your Primary Responsibilities Will BeReleases and prioritizes work orders to achieve production schedules, assigns work and estimates worker hour requirements for successful completion of job assignments while meeting delivery, quality, and cost metrics.Correctly interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to workers and effectively assigns dutiesMeets production schedules, efficiencies and utilization targetsRecommends and initiates measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product within company guidelinesProactively works to improve working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, departments or work crewAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problemsAccurately maintains time and production recordsCorrectly and efficiently estimates, requisitions and inspects material as requiredConfers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments; successfully collaborates cross-functionally to deliver business resultsReports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel and follows up to ensure successful and timely resolutionEnsures the smooth transition of work between shiftsAnd You Will HaveBachelors Degree in Engineering, Business Management or Operations Management is required.At least 2 years’ supervisory experienceAt least 2 years’ experience in an FAA regulated environmentOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge and experience in business, supervision, and managementBetter than average written and spoken communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff membersExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environmentStrong focus and attention to detailTime management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environmentExcellent problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong focus on customer serviceAbility to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S.**This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization**The wage/salary range for this role is $95k - $128k, depending on education and experience.Benefits Include9/80 Work Schedule – every other Friday offMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life and AD&D InsuranceCompany-Paid Short- and Long-Term DisabilityHSA with potential company contribution, and/or FSA/DCFSA401(k) with 3% match with no LOS requirementAccident/Hospital Indemnity/Critical Illness CoverageAuto/Home, Legal, Identify Theft, and Pet InsuranceAllowance for Safety GlassesAllowance for Safety Shoes10 Company-Paid HolidaysEducation Reimbursement up to $25k per yearPaid Time OffPaid Volunteer Time OffReferral BonusesQuarterly lunches and other eventsBonusSince 1958 AvtechTyee has been a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of electronic systems and structural parts for the aerospace industry, with a focus in Communications, Power Lighting and Control, Electro-Mechanical, Switches and Connectors, Indicators, and Rods and Struts.
