Schedule: 7a - 3:30p Mon-Fri. Locum will very rarely be asked to stay late.Sporadic ongoing coverage. Facility will confirm 1 week at a time. Call is Required. Details below.Cerner & paper chartingLevel IIIThe really sick peds and truly complicated trauma is almost always shipped outThere is always a physician on 2nd call to back them up if there is overlap in patient volume or if the case is a trauma they don t think they can handle Types of cases: OB, General surgery, GI, Bariatric, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, Cardiothoracic, some ENT (most of it is done at the local ASC), some peds. .One is a Level 3 trauma center, so really complex cases are stabilized then sent to a tertiary center.
