Senior Software Engineer (Node/Angular)

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join a technology company that's transforming the moving, storage, and last-mile delivery industry. In this role, you'll help build scalable products that power real-world logistics, collaborating with a team that values ownership, pragmatic problem-solving, and clean engineering practices. We're looking for a backend-leaning engineer who thrives in Node.js, enjoys designing APIs and data models, and is comfortable jumping into React, Angular, or React Native whenever the product requires it.Key ResponsibilitiesTranslate architectural and business requirements into actionable technical tasks, owning feature delivery end-to-end through to production deploymentBuild resilient, well-tested core services in Node.js, with deep ownership over the APIs and workflows that power supply, scheduling, and fulfillmentArchitect MongoDB schemas for complex workflows and continuously optimize performance through indexing, aggregation pipelines, and tuning at scaleBuild and maintain integrations with third-party services including payments, mapping/routing, SMS/notifications, and CRM platformsContribute to frontend features in React, React Native, and Angular when work requires full-stack ownershipParticipate in technical design reviews, help set backend architecture standards, and leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the engineering lifecycleCore Requirements7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with the majority spent on backend systems using Node.js in productionExperience designing and versioning REST or GraphQL APIs consumed by multiple clientsSolid MongoDB experience: schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning at scaleProficiency with frontend development using Angular, React, and React NativeWorking knowledge of GCP (Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, or similar) sufficient to understand deployments and debug production issuesDirect experience building or scaling a two-sided marketplace, supply/demand matching engine, or fulfillment platformFamiliarity with event-driven or queue-based architectures (e.g., Pub/Sub)AI-forward mindset with active use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate deliveryExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environmentAdditionalUS Timezone Overlap: CST, Full overlapStartup or fast-growing company experience with a track record of balancing speed and long-term maintainabilityWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
