Locum Tenens General Surgeon - Call Only Location: North Carolina, Eastern United States Specialty: Surgery - General Start Date: November 3, 2023 End Date: December 4, 2023 Job Duration: 1 month Number of Positions: 1 Shift: 24-Hour Call Shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Locum Tenens General Surgeon for a call-only assignment in North Carolina, starting on November 3, 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential surgical coverage in a hospital setting. Key Details: Start date: November 3, 2023 End date: December 4, -hour call shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM Bread and butter general surgery cases, including hernia repair, cholecystectomy, breast surgery, "lumps and bumps," abscess drainage, endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy), appendectomy, small bowel and colon surgery. Call coverage only Clean background highly preferred Board Certification required Provider must be vaccinated NO RECENT OR OPEN MALPRACTICE CASES Malpractice or disciplinary information must be included before the candidate will be considered NPI# required in candidate bid Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed Active NC license and NC DEA (NC address) required Surgeon will be provided with hospital-owned individual apartments onsite, including cable and Wi-Fi Physician on-call for services, with a requirement to be within 20 minutes of the facility Meditech 6.1 is the current EMR If you are interested in this locum tenens opportunity, please contact MD Staff at or email us at .
