Materials Analyst

We're searching for a Materials Analyst, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll support inventory requirements, ensure materials are available for production, and support optimization of supply chain and inventory processes by providing timely data to supply chain leaders. Think you've got what it takes?Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesUtilizes operating system (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Finance & Operations) to ensure inventory is available and accurate for productionSupports production material picking and fixes and reports picking transaction issuesWorks cross-functionally with Receiving, Procurement, Production, and Project Management to ensure inventory is correctly processed from purchase to consumptionUnderstands production processes such as routes, stage areas, picking locations, and supports determining Min & MaxSupports the Picking team with best practices in material flow through the production floor and warehousesMonitors processes established by the Supply Chain Process Engineer and provides continuous feedback for optimizationSupplies and analyzes data and assists department managers in the creation of Key Performance IndicatorsPublishes KPI's and discusses evolving trends with with department managers and Supply Chain Process EngineerSkills & RequirementsEducation/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates degree or more, or 3+ years practical experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment preferred2+ years in inventory control in a production environmentExperience with inventory processing (cycle counting, picking, receiving, putting away)1+ years analyzing data, creating or reviewing inventory transactions1+ years of a strong, hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365Required Qualifications/SkillsAbility to read mechanical drawings (blueprints) or learn how toHands-on approach with a focus on safety, quality, and teamworkWorking knowledge of Process Excellence Tools (Six Sigma & Lean)Strong analytical skills and proficiency w/ statistical analysis tools
