Adjusts plans based on currentoperating conditions and coordinates and communicates updates with other departments as needed. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, company policies, KPIs, procedures, and values to meet production, distribution, and inventory targets.ResponsibilitiesCreate, maintain, and distribute production schedules for assigned machines, supporting fulfillment of customer orders and planned inventory stocking requirements while maximizing machine utilization.Maintain and update Excel product family worksheets as needed to monitor inventory levels and plan production across locations within scope of responsibility.Communicate daily with Plant Supervision to ensure adherence to schedules for assigned machines and to maintain accuracy and integrity of machine schedules.Communicate production schedule changes in a timely and efficient manner to appropriate personnel.Partner with Customer Service to address required adjustments to ship dates and shipping locations to meet customer order requirements.Initiate intra-company inventory transfers based on business trends and stocking requirements to support effective customer order fulfillment.Support the Supply Planning Manager in adjusting annual production and inventory plans by monitoring performance metrics and market fluctuations.Collaborate with the Inventory Analyst to monitor inventory turns for assigned products and/or locations, ensuring adherence to the Inventory Business Rules process.Create purchase orders and releases for finished goods inventory purchased for resale within assigned responsibility.QualificationsEducation:* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field* APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent professional certification desiredExperience:* Minimum three (3) years of experience in inventory control or plant productionKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of the building and construction industryKnowledge of insulation manufacturing products and processes preferredDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrixed environmentAbility to communicate effectively throughout the organizationAbility to make quick, thorough decisionsAbility to motivate and energize a team to produce winning solutionsAbility to partner with and support colleagues both internally and externallyAbility to work hands-on in an industrial manufacturing environment, as well as in a corporate environment, as applicableAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organizationAbility to instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive mannerAbility to support employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforceEffective negotiation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective prioritization and time management skillsFollow-up skillsProactive in identifying areas of opportunity and suggesting ideas for improvementEffective public speaking and presentation skillsComputer skills in MS Windows environment; proficient in Word, PowerPoint and ExcelIt is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law.
