Headquartered in Long Island, NY with additional offices in Westchester County.Looking for a Junior Staff Accountant with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.Responsibilities:Knowledge with accounts payable and accounts receivableInterfacing with Vendor/Sub Contractors, owners from the onset of contract documents, Certified Payroll, General Liability and Worker’s Compensation insurance. Process and Manage Subcontractor invoices including the preparation of all supporting documentation. Collection of warranties at the close out process at completion of project. Maintain and organize hard and soft copy project filesCollect and maintain subcontractor insuranceQualifications:Must have 3 years of experience in the accounting field. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldExperience with current computer accounting programs and reporting toolsDetail and deadline-orientedStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with heavy concentration in ExcelExperience with the Construction Field is a plusCompany Description With a $ 250 Million Bonding Line, ACS is a Major Player in Government and Private Construction Contracts.
