Inside Sales Representative
Overview
The Inside Sales Representative II develops meaningful relationships with customers aiming to grow Sharp's market share within the customer account. The role is responsible for managing assigned reseller account base within a geographic territory. Account management includes daily communication & interaction related to Sharp products & programs with key account contacts. Daily support of customer accounts includes product-related information, inventory levels, and special pricing in larger opportunities. This position requires an energetic, independent, self-starter who can manage reseller and integrator accounts within the ProAV channel. Prospecting via email and phone is a vital skill to success. Clear sales goals and objectives are defined and measured through metrics. The position requires excellent organization, computer and phone skills, and the ability to achieve sales goals. The position is not an inside support role.
Responsibilities
Manage Reseller Named Accounts (20-25 accounts)
Build relationships within accounts
Grow Sharp market share within the account base
Build knowledge of customer's organization, decision-makers, and vertical markets
Communicate inventory levels & product shipment updates to accounts
Resolve customer issues with sales, marketing, customer service, and technical support
Provide account support for other Resellers and integrators within a geographic territory
Collaborate with the Regional Account Manager team on shared territory sales strategy
Conduct outbound sales calls and email campaigns aimed at finding new sales opportunities
Drive topline revenue growth while focused on profitability
Communicate product, pricing and program announcements to accounts and territory
Create Special Pricing Requests (SPR) when appropriate
Utilize product evaluation program to further sales opportunities
Assist to resolve customer issues with sales, marketing, rebate claims, customer service, and technical support
Travel as requested to support channel events and direct reseller product/program training initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of sales experience, within ProAV Channel preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent work experience
Proven sales, account management, and relationship-building skills
Established prospecting skills
Strong written and verbal business communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Experience using MS Office Suite, including Teams
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to travel up to 25%
