Requisition ID # 171042 Job Category: Engineering / Science Job Level: Individual ContributorBusiness Unit: Strategy & GrowthWork Type: HybridJob Location: Hinkley; NeedlesDepartment OverviewThe Facility Integrity Management Program and Technical Services (FIMP&TS) is responsible for all Compression & Processing (C&P) and Measurement & Pressure Control (M&C) asset families for gas transmission stations.Position SummaryPerforms asset management and engineering work in support of gas transmission operations, construction and/or maintenance functions within Gas Operations. Expectation to be self-directed and proactive to ensure the timely, thorough, and accurate completion of engineering services, work and projects. Performs asset management and provides technical support for assigned facilities as required. The engineer's responsibilities contribute to Gas Safety Excellence goals by ensuring the safety, integrity and reliability of the assigned assets.Headquarters will be at Hinkley Compressor Station or Topock Compressor Station. The preference is Topock Compressor Station.If headquartered at Hinkley Compressor Station, the position will require approximately 50% of travel time in work schedule. If headquartered at Topock Compressor Station, the position will require approximately 10% of travel time in the work schedule.This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. If headquartered at Topock Compressor Station, you will be allowed to live and work remotely from California or Arizona.This position is a DOT (Department of Transportation) covered classification and is subject to random drug and/or alcohol screening.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
