Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed to start ASAP and work ongoing near Nashville, TN. What are the shift times: 6a-2p, 9a-6p,1p-10p,3p-11p,4p-10p,9p-6a. How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift: 2-3 during day shift (9 am-11 pm), 1 physician from 11pm 9 am. How often are the locums called back on site if on call: No call. What procedures are required: I&D, Laceration repair. What does the support staff include: RNs, LPNs, Techs. What is the average patient census: 130. What are the most common cases the locum will see: Chest pain, abdominal pain, MVC, extremity injury, cough/illness, abscess, laceration repair, vaginal bleeding in pregnancy. Annual ER admissions: 30-35. Does the unit use robots? If so, what kind: Psych.
