Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

OverviewA growing plaintiff-side litigation practice in Houston is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a lead attorney while supporting a small group of attorneys on complex litigation matters.The position is well suited for a seasoned paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of cases, maintaining strong communication with clients, and helping move matters efficiently from intake through resolution.This is a highly hands-on role where the paralegal will be actively involved in managing files rather than simply assisting with administrative tasks.Position Responsibilities• Manage litigation files from initial intake through resolution, including pre-litigation support, discovery coordination, and trial preparation• Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and assist attorneys with case progression• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary documentation or evidence• Assist with discovery, document review, and preparation of materials for hearings, mediation, or trial• Coordinate with attorneys and internal staff to ensure cases move forward efficiently• Handle a caseload involving a mix of personal injury and sensitive civil litigation matters• Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with team members in other officesQualifications• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably on the plaintiff side• Strong ability to manage cases with limited supervision• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Professional communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients• Comfortable handling sensitive subject matter with discretion and empathy• Ability to work onsite full-time in the Houston office
