Job DescriptionSales Representative – In Training - MI Windows and Doors (Part of MITER Brands)Location: Austin, TXTotal Compensation: $40,000–$120,000 (base salary + commission, based on experience and performance)The Sales Representative – In Training is an entry‑level sales role designed to develop future Territory Sales Managers within MITER Brands. At MITER Brands, we believe in developing talent from within and empowering our teams to grow alongside the company.ResponsibilitiesSales Training & SupportShadow the Territory Sales Manager on customer visits, distributor meetings, and job site visitsAssist with preparing quotes, presentations, proposals, and follow‑up communicationsLearn company product lines, including features, benefits, and applications of window and door systemsSupport execution of sales strategies within the assigned territoryCustomer & Distributor EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, and contractor partnersRespond to basic customer inquiries and provide product recommendationsSupport service levels and account satisfaction for existing customersParticipate in in‑store trainings, lunch‑and‑learns, and product demonstrationsTerritory DevelopmentAssist in identifying new business opportunities within the distribution networkSupport account penetration strategies and territory growth initiativesContribute to account revenue growth through sales support and relationship buildingTrack sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline updates in the CRMOperational & Cross‑Functional SupportCoordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order flow and fulfillmentAssist with issue resolution and timely follow‑up on customer needsMaintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and sales activityTraining & DevelopmentStructured onboarding and product trainingExposure to distribution and channel sales modelsDevelopment of consultative selling and relationship‑based sales skillsClearly defined progression path to Territory Sales ManagerQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of coachability and desire to build a career in salesSelf‑motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to travel locally within the assigned territory1–2 years of sales, customer service, or construction‑related experienceInterest in building materials, construction, or manufacturing industriesFamiliarity with CRM tools and Microsoft OfficeCoachability and continuous‑learning mindsetRelationship‑building and customer focusStrong organization and attention to detailProblem‑solving mindsetProfessional verbal and written communication skillsWhat We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
