Quality Automation EngineerLocation:Austin, TX (Hybrid)Compensation:Competitive base + benefitsAs a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our Petcare SaaS platforms. This is a hands-on position focused on building and maintaining automated and manual testing while also contributing to QA strategy, mentoring team members, and helping evolve our overall quality practices.This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, quality-driven, and eager to grow into a QA leadership position by leading through hands-on contribution and collaboration.What You'll Do:Design, build, and maintain manual and automated test coverage across Petcare applicationsPerform hands-on automation testing for web workflows and APIsEnsure quality across functional, regression, integration, and release testingIdentify, document, and track defects with clear analysis and impactPartner with Engineering and Product to understand requirements, risks, and release readinessAdvocate for quality-first practices and continuously improve testing processesMentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation standards and QA best practicesSupport production releases, UAT, and overall test strategy as the team scalesWhat You'll Bring:Strong hands-on experience as a QA Automation EngineerExperience with automation tools such asTestRigor and PostmanSolid understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and SDLCExperience testing complex SaaS applications and workflowsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to mentor others and influence quality practices across teamsNice to Have:Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with data-driven applications or complex workflow systemsExposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test executionExperience working with distributed or cross-functional teamsPrior experience taking ownership of QA initiatives or informal leadership rolesWhat Drives Us: AtTogetherwork, we exist to help community-driven organizations grow and thrive by creating better experiences for the people they serve.
