Google Analytics Implementation EngineerThis position will execute data governance/quality and implementation execution, validation support, training and strategy support for Google Analytics 360 Suite of products for all websites/applications under Google Analytics contract and act as an extension of Caterpillars Google Analytics team.High Level Scope includes but is not be limited to:GA team tracking setup validationsSite developer question supportTracking needs for specific enterprise objectivesPlatform/system architecture and account designCross site/domain clickstream data collectionUser id (known contact) journey path collectionEnhanced ecommerce for sales attributionCustom dimension and metrics collection for expanded analysis capabilitiesEvent/behavior trackingReferral exclusion execution for improved data quality for users crossing enterprise sitesData auditingGoal configuration for enterprise KPIs, GTM tag and trigger configurations3rd party integrations with additional purchased platformsUse of Measurement ProtocolServer Side tracking execution and integration and use of Google and third party related APIs, etc.Typical Day:Attending scrum meetingsFacilitating meetings to ensure correct requirementsPeer reviewsInvestigationsImplementations.Technical Skills:Required:Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the document object model related to analytics tagging with Google Tag ManagerExperience with Digital Marketing technologies, including campaign tracking and Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Google Analytics integrationsGA4 ExperienceKnowledge of SQL for data science analysis and reportingExperience with A/B Testing platforms (Google Optimize)Cookie consent management experience related to Google marketing platform data collectionExperience demonstrating analytical capabilities to various levels of leadership.Desired:BigQuerySoft Skills:Ability to quickly ramp-up, self-train, and facilitate meetings to deliver on assigned work.Education Requirements:Google Analytics Individual Qualification Certification preferred.Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required plus 10+ years exp.MBA or other related advanced degree plus 8+ years exp preferred.No degree with additional exp acceptable.
