Product CoordinatorThe Product Coordinator provides support for Ravago International business by managing the flow of product from the supplier purchase through receipt of material to the Warehouse. This requires a high level of attention to detail and proactivity in order to maintain the system up to date and the product/information flowing.
Areas of Responsibility / TasksPerformance must reflect an appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
1. The Product Coordinator is responsible for purchase order entry and follow-up
2. Relationship building and interaction with suppliers at multiple levels
3. Updating purchase information into ERP system (dates, weights, railcar information, and product information) to ensure accurate reporting information needed by Product Managers for product availability decisions.
4. Send Inbound notification and packaging instructions to warehouses, given that all incoming purchased material requires a work order to be completed by the Warehouse for packaging, re-packaging, relabeling and transfers.
5. Monitor established KPI's on a daily basis by using the reporting tools in order to proactively identify potential issues with the orders.
6. Communicate with A/P to coordinate payments for Cash in Advance and Cash Against Documents purchases.
7. Assist Accounts Payable with A/P differences.
8. Investigate and process Claims related to Supplier invoices.
9. Maintain proper records of each purchase transaction.
10. Responsible for the setup of new vendors and new grades.
11. Monitor established KPI's on a daily basis by using the reporting tools in order to proactively identify and react to potential issues with purchase orders.
12. Manage claim creation, submittal, and resolution resulting from non-performance issues by the Warehouses.
13. Enable business continuity by promoting cross-training with other members of the team.
14. Participate in backup and load balancing process among members of the Product Coordinator team during periods of high workload, vacation, and time off.
15. Responsible for fomenting and maintaining a cohesive team environment in the Product Coordinator team.

3- 5 years related business experience
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Exposure to E-Commerce and the Internet a plus
Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
Good at multitasking
Proactive Approach and Accountability
22. Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
1. Education:
A four-year college degree and/or education and experience equivalent to be determined by Management
2. Licenses / Certifications:
a. Valid driver's license required
3. Language:
a. Proficiency in English required
b. Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
