Job Title: IT System Support Specialist RoleDuration: 6-12 Months ContractLocation: Winter Park FL - Onsite RolePay Range: $22-23/h on W2Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance across a range of hardware, software, and network environments. This role involves supporting end users, maintaining system performance, and assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in dynamic and high-pressure environments.Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issuesTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applicationsInstall, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and softwareAssist in the planning, design, and implementation of new and existing IT systemsSupport users with Microsoft productivity tools and related applicationsDiagnose system issues using appropriate tools and methodologiesMaintain and enforce IT standards, policies, and best practicesDocument technical issues, resolutions, and system configurationsCollaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical problemsSupport both wired and wireless network connectivity issuesProvide user training and guidance on system usage and best practicesRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 1 year of experience in IT support, troubleshooting, or system administrationStrong knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools (Microsoft 365/Office Suite)Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and softwareBasic understanding of networking concepts (wired and wireless)Familiarity with computer diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniquesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAdditional Requirements: Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environmentsFlexibility to support extended hours or on-site presence during critical incidents or emergencies
