To learn more about us, please visit our website at: .Required Qualifications:Journeyman status or greater.3+ years of experience in the plumbing trade.Valid driver's license and insurable driving history.Knowledge of advanced plumbing practices.Advanced customer service skillsAdvanced verbal and written skillsAdvanced math skillsStrong trouble shooting and critical thinking skillsMust be able to sit, stand, squat, and lift up to 60 lbs.Must be willing to work in all types of weather Desired Qualifications:Experience in residential, commercial and new construction plumbingDesire to grow career to Master plumber or Department Manager Essential functions and responsibilities:Removing, replacing, installing or repairing all types of plumbing fixtures such as water closets, sinks, drinking fountains, showers, kitchen, laboratory, and other heating, water or drainage systems according to plumbing codesDiagnosing malfunctions, repair and maintenance of plumbing and piping systems including clearing plugged waste linesCut, fit, fabricate and assemble a wide variety of articles, materials and devices including steel, copper, brass, glass, plastic, cast iron, corrosion-resistant pip, tile and concreteEnsure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and gradedEnsure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of all applicable codesAssemble and install valve and fittingsTest pie systems and fixtures for leaksEnsure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are metDig trenches when neededHaul equipment to and from the work site from the work truckTake inventory and track how much materials are for each jobCommunicate with all customers in a positive and professional mannerWork with customers to make recommendations on the purchase of new equipmentWork with outside vendors to purchase material and equipmentEnsure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the environmental protection requirements as applicableReview building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materialsLocate and mark positions for connections and fixturesRead and interpret blueprints, plans and sketchesLead apprentices or helpers as assignedKeep daily reports and detailed job logsAlways maintain a professional appearance and attitude.Always promote a positive company cultureDrive motor vehicle as requiredCleanliness of company vehicle.Other duties as assignedCompensation: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
