The Senior Accountant role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company by ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage multiple accounting tasks while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting department.ResponsibilitiesProcess and maintain daily accounting transactions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial record updatesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportingSupport month-end and year-end closing processesReconcile bank statements and investigate discrepanciesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsMaintain financial documentation and ensure records are accurate and properly filedSupport the preparation of audit documentation and assist during external auditsMaintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedulesEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and operational needsAssist in improving accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracyJob QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–4 years of relevant accounting experienceBasic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principlesProficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with multi-entity accountingFamiliarity with construction, real estate, or manufacturing industriesBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusProgress toward CPA certification is a plusPowered by JazzHR
