This strong foundation has created an environment where our employees are seen as members of our family and are given the tools and resources to succeed, both personally and professionally.Position OverviewUnder the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Mix/Mill/Granulation Operator will be responsible for producing various ingredients, learning good manufacturing practices, and following standardized formulas for weighing, measuring, and mixing raw materials.Shift2nd shift. 2:00 pm - 12: 30 am Monday - Thursday, or as job responsibilities require.Pay$23.08 - $25.39/hr + $1.50 Shift PremiumFunctionsOperate all equipment and processes as outlined in the product Master Manufacturing Record (MMR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)Add all batch ingredients and ensure that all formulas are correct and ingredient usage by recipe is accuratePlace ingredients in mixer for processingCheck to see if re-work should be added to batch and add accordinglyMonitor quality of product by performing all relevant quality control checks and collecting samples for lab testingMaintain and record all required documentation (batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)Complete all labeling and inventory movements to ensure accurate inventory controlMonitor machine operations and implement corrective action as neededTroubleshoot machine and product related issues; communicate these issues to supervisor/leadDismantle and clean any accessories and equipment between batches while also maintaining a clean work areaPerform machine changeovers and sanitationsPerform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standardsQualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred ExperienceExperience in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience in a food processing environment preferredExperience as a machine operator preferredSpecialized Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of basic mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of basic mathSkills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Necessary CompetenciesAdaptability/FlexibilityCommunication (verbal and written)Process ManagementReliable/PunctualQualitySafety/SecurityTechnical SkillsBenefits PackageStandard Process is proud to be a top workplace.
