Apply today for your chance to get paid while also having fun, earn resume-enhancing experience, and create unforgettable memories!We Are Currently Looking For aStory Land - Story Book Character Performer (Seasonal)(Roles & ResponsibilitiesRoles and Responsibilities:Welcome guests with a smile and a positive attitude!Engage with guests of all ages in a fun and entertaining way!Perform and provide guest service through performance themed charactersEnsure our guests are top priorityRemain in character and at assigned station during scheduled shiftAble to perform both indoors and outside (hot/humid conditions) in full costumeWear appropriate costumesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentReport any issues to supervisorBe knowledgeable about the park to assist guests with any questions they may haveAll other duties assigned by leadershipLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Education And Experience No education requirements for this position Previous acting or costume character experience is desired but not requiredRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of age to comply with New Hampshire Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work 20+ hours per week, when neededMust have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftMust comply with all grooming standards, uniform and/or costume requirementsAbility to immerse in role and remain in character throughout the performanceMust be playful, outgoing, friendly, and convey a positive, guest-centric attitudeMust possess effective verbal and non-verbal acting and communication skillsAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a fast-paced teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to wear assigned costume for extended periods of timeAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 15 pounds or moreWorking ConditionsFrequent exposure to outdoor and indoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures (both in and out of costume), including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditionsSubject to frequent interruptions, constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environmentsWorking at Story Land is about making people happy!
