Position SummaryThe Head of Paid Search leads TCMS's paid search marketing efforts, driving client growth and maximizing ROI through strategic campaign management. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive paid search strategies, delivering measurable results, and managing client accounts. The position requires deep expertise in search engine marketing (SEM), a data-driven mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.This role is accountable for delivering results in four key areas:1. Paid Search StrategyDevelop and execute comprehensive paid search strategies that align with client business objectives and drive measurable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop customized paid search strategies for each client based on their goals, market, and competitive landscapeIdentify and capitalize on new opportunities for growth within the paid search landscapeStay current on search engine algorithm changes, platform updates, and industry best practicesEvaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and platforms to improve campaign performanceCollaborate with other teams (SEO, content, client success) to ensure an integrated approach to digital marketingEnsure all paid search activities comply with platform policies and industry standardsSuccess MetricsAll clients have documented, current paid search strategiesStrategies reviewed and updated quarterly or as market conditions changeNew growth opportunities identified and presented to clients regularlySuccessful adoption of new tools and technologies that improve results3. Paid Search ResultsDeliver measurable, high-quality results that demonstrate clear ROI for clients.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all paid search campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Local Service Ads)Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to achieve desired metricsAnalyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvementManage paid search budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROIDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate performance metrics to stakeholdersTroubleshoot and resolve campaign performance issues promptlySuccess MetricsClient campaigns meeting or exceeding performance targets (leads, conversions, ROAS)Campaign budgets fully utilized with optimal spend allocationPerformance reports delivered on schedule with actionable insightsIssues identified and resolved within 24-48 hours4. Account ManagementMaintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction with paid search services.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for paid search strategy and performance discussionsProactively communicate campaign performance, recommendations, and updates to clientsRespond to client questions and requests in a timely mannerCollaborate with Client Success Managers to ensure alignment on client goals and expectationsPresent performance reviews and strategic recommendations to clientsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on client needs and performanceSuccess MetricsPositive client feedback on paid search servicesClient questions and requests addressed within established SLAsRegular performance reviews conducted with all clientsClient retention rates maintained or improvedIV. Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree a plus). Minimum 5-7 years of experience in paid search marketing with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns.
