Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (Hiring Immediately)

Responsibilities: - Provide Neurosurgery services under the supervision of Dr Jose Valerio - Conduct physical examinations and medical histories- Diagnose and treat brain and spine diagnosis's- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, CTs, X-rays and laboratory tests- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements: - Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice- Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology- Experience working as a physician assistant or in a similar role preferred- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Skills: - Familiarity with acute care settings, including clinic, emergent inpatient and outpatient settings Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Neurosurgery Neuro-Oncology Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
