Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

Responsibilities Provide Neurosurgery services under the supervision of Dr Jose Valerio Conduct physical examinations and medical histories Diagnose and treat brain and spine diagnosis's Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, CTs, X-rays and laboratory tests Prescribe medications and other treatments Assist in surgical procedures, including suturing and wound care Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Requirements Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology Experience working as a physician assistant or in a similar role preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Skills Familiarity with acute care settings, including clinic, emergent inpatient and outpatient settings Job Type: Full-time Benefits Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Medical Specialty Neurosurgery Neuro-Oncology Schedule 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
