Controller | Pompano Beach, FL | OnsiteA growing South Florida manufacturing company is looking for an Operations Controller to become a key financial and operational partner to its leadership team. This is an excellent next step for an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Plant Accounting Manager, or similar finance professional who is ready to move beyond reporting and take broader ownership of a business.You’ll have visibility into the entire operation—from cost accounting and margins to pricing, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L performance—while working directly with the General Manager and senior ownership.This is a hands-on, highly visible role where finance is embedded in the operation—not sitting on the sidelines. You’ll have the opportunity to influence decisions around pricing, production, sourcing, staffing, and profitability.What You’ll OwnCost accounting, standard/job costing, and product-level margin analysisFull P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reportingPricing analysis and recommendations based on costs and margin targetsPurchasing, vendor negotiations, receiving, and inventory managementFinancial modeling and cost-to-build analysisKey operating metrics including gross margin, cost per unit, and inventory turnsPartnership with production and operations to identify cost savings and improve profitabilityLeadership of purchasing, receiving, and inventory/logistics functionsWhat We’re Looking For7+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experienceStrong manufacturing, cost accounting, or product costing experienceExperience with standard costing and/or job costingExposure to P&L management, budgeting, and forecastingStrong Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience working with ERP and inventory systemsPurchasing/procurement, vendor management, or inventory exposure strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA, CMA, or MBA is a plusIf you’re currently an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller and feel ready for more ownership, this role offers the opportunity to step into a true Controller-level seat with direct leadership exposure, operational influence, team responsibility, and ownership of financial performance.Interested in taking that next step?
