Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year in ER License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS, PALS required Must-Have: Travelers must be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult populations. Every third weekend is required. Description: This Emergency Department serves both pediatric and adult patients. The nurse will care for a variety of chief complaints, including abdominal pain, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and musculoskeletal injuries. The nurse will need to manage dysrhythmias, provide continuous IV sedation, and monitor procedural sedation. The nursing staff consists of a diverse group of healthcare professionals working collaboratively. This position requires strong triage skills and the ability to care for ventilated patients. Experience in pediatric emergency care is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with EPIC charting.
