React JS Frontend Developer

The team member will serve as a Frontend Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive web applications, from single-page applications to multi-page and server-rendered sites. The role focuses on building accessible, high-performance user interfaces, integrating secure enterprise authentication, and delivering a polished client experience that communicates seamlessly with backend services. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, deep proficiency in the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem, and the ability to own the frontend layer of the application from architecture through deployment.This position requires advanced knowledge of frontend frameworks, component-driven UI development, state and routing management, enterprise identity integration, and modern build tooling. The Frontend Developer will work on building efficient, accessible UI components, integrating with APIs, optimizing rendering performance, and ensuring a consistent, well-tested user experience across environments.Primary duties/responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain web applications (single-page, multi-page, or server-rendered) using TypeScript/JavaScript and a modern component framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.Build and maintain client-side and/or server-side routing and navigation flows as appropriate to the application architecture.Implement enterprise authentication and session handling using an identity platform such as Azure Entra ID or similar SSO/OAuth providers.Develop API integration layers, including request/response handling, error handling, and auth token management.Build responsive, accessible UI components and layouts using a utility-first or component-based styling approach.Implement iconography, rich content rendering, and other UI/UX elements to support a polished user experience.Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure UI reliability and prevent regressions.Maintain code quality through linting, code reviews, and adherence to team style guidelines.Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to translate requirements into performant, accessible UI.Optimize frontend rendering performance, bundle size, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.Experience RequirementBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience building production web applications with a modern frontend framework.At least 3 years of professional experience in frontend development.Experience with modern build tooling and frontend testing frameworks.Experience integrating enterprise SSO/identity providers or OAuth/OIDC-based authentication into a frontend application.Experience with modern CSS approaches and responsive, accessible UI design.Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD workflows for frontend deployments.Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs and understanding of API design principles from a client perspective.Experience with AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants.Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional development environments.
