With over 1,400 team members, we care for more than 100,000 people across all 50 states.Job DetailsThe ATP Pharmacy Technician is responsible for monitoring, filling and organizing the medication dispensing of our automated machines. They will also support inventory activities. As well, this person will be held to a high standard of accountability to guarantee the accuracy of the patient's ExactPacks.ResponsibilitiesProcess correct bags through the automated machines.Maintain a high level of quality assurance for medication dispensing.Responsible for stocking received pharmacy inventory.Organization of medication shelves and maintain cleanliness of work station.Ensure station is properly stocked at all times.Monitor station queues.Accountable for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients.Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal counterparts to resolve patient issues.Embody AnewHealth's Core Values in all communications and interactions.Other duties as assigned.The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EducationHigh school diploma /GED required.If no prior pharmacy experience, must be committed to registering with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and obtaining a pharmacy certification within one year of employment.Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, preferred.ExperienceMust be 18+ years of age.Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong prioritization and organizational skillsAbility to use multiple software programs to fulfill medication ordersMaintain a high degree of confidentialityPassion to help people and enrich their livesPhysical/Mental Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the pharmacy for extended periods of time. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling medications, operating equipment, and using computer systems. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to read prescription labels, reports, and computer screens accurately. May require bending, reaching, and repetitive motions during production activities.Schedule: This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis.
