Pharmacy Tech Location: Elmhurst, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,154 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 7 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Profession: Technician Specialty: Pharmacy Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Every weekend Hours per Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Experience: One (1) year of experience required License: Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Pharmacy Technician Certifications: Primary Source Verification of License and Registration for Registered Pharmacy Technician Must-Have: High School Diploma/GED required Description: Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, pharmacy technicians will assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of medications and maintaining drug inventory. Pharmacy technicians must adhere to federal, state, and local laws and other regulatory requirements regarding pharmacy and institutional practice. They will perform related work rotating between different assignments and shifts to meet departmental needs. The ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods is essential. Pharmacy technicians will receive, return, and deliver medications, medication carts, and supplies to various areas. They are responsible for operating equipment properly and troubleshooting automated dispensing systems as needed.
