It's in our hands.Job Summary:The Organizing Intern will support the daily functions of the organizing team at Brady. The Organizing intern will assist all aspects of Brady's grassroots organizing efforts, including interacting with chapter members, planning rallies and events, supporting Team ENOUGH efforts, and researching pending legislative priorities that need grassroots support. Working closely with the entire organizing team, the best candidate will be flexible, enthusiastic, and passionate about gun violence prevention.Duties and Responsibilities:Research on various topics, including legislation and policiesWrite summaries on issuesBlog posts on chapters' websitesAssist with social media posts and messagingDraft talking points for legislation and/or issuesCommunicate with activistsAssist in planning events (virtual)Skills and Experience:Strong writing skills, including precise grammar, punctuation, and spellingAbility to work well under pressure within a fast-paced, high-performing teamStrong desire to be a key team contributorSelf-motivated, creative, dependable and accountable.Available to work between 15–30 hours per week during our standard office hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET).
