The company has raised a $10 million seed round, already serves large enterprise customers, and is led by seasoned technology and AI operators.The opportunityWe are hiring a Founding Engineer, AI Platform with 3 to 7 years of experience to build an enterprise intelligence platform from the ground up. You will operate as an entrepreneurial, product-minded full-stack engineer across product, infrastructure, agents, evaluations, and customer workflows.What you will do• Lead development of reusable agent-platform primitives including triggers, tools, approvals, evaluations, memory, observability, and workflow execution.• Own work end to end, from customer discovery and technical design through implementation, launch, and iteration.• Build full-stack product surfaces and the backend systems that support them.• Turn early customer demand into scalable, multi-tenant product capabilities.• Work directly with customers to discover needs and debug production issues.• Shape the product roadmap, technical architecture, engineering practices, and culture.What we are looking for• 3 to 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience in AI-native or fast-moving product environments.• Clear 0-to-1 experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early engineer at a venture-backed startup.• Strong backend engineering skills and the ability to own work across the full stack.• Experience shipping AI-powered product features into production.• Familiarity with LLM APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, tool calling, evaluations, or adjacent agent infrastructure.• High autonomy, strong product judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action.• Ability to speak directly with customers for discovery and debugging.• A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent technical degree.Location and compensation• Full-time hybrid role based in San Francisco, with approximately three days per week in the office.• Base salary of $180,000 to $250,000.• Competitive founding-stage equity.• Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
