Position: Trade Operations Coordinator (Bulk & Container)Salary: $54-65k/year (DOE) plus bonusWorking Hours: 7 hours/day, 35 hours/weekWork Style: Onsite work for the first month, then hybrid 3 days/week onsiteStatus: Non-exempt, Full-timeCompetitive benefit package including Insurance and Retirement planCompany: Major Japanese corporationIndustry: Trading/ ResourcesPosition SummaryOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Operations Coordinator to support trading and sales activities within the business department.This role focuses on documentation, transaction processing, logistics coordination, and customer support related to domestic and international trade. The ideal candidate is organized, numbers-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple processes in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesContract & Documentation Management Prepare and manage documentation for import, export, offshore, and domestic transactions Create invoices and billing instructions based on contracts Track contracts from initiation through final delivery Settlement & Financial CoordinationCoordinate settlement methods (L/C, Bills for Collection, wire transfers, etc.) Support cash flow planning by researching exchange rates and financial trends Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions Logistics & TransportationArrange transportation and shipment of goods Communicate shipping details to buyers and suppliers Resolve logistics issues and coordinate with internal teams when needed Accounts & ReportingMaintain accounts receivable and payable records Prepare debit memos and vouchers Track transaction data for periodic reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) Follow up on overdue payments Customer SupportRespond to inquiries regarding orders, payments, pricing, and delivery schedules Track order status and provide updates to customers and vendors Credit & Compliance SupportCoordinate with the Credit Department on customer credit status Assist with credit checks and limit adjustments International TransactionsProcess international fund transfers and maintain transaction logs Additional DutiesSupport special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a multicultural and fast-paced environment Ideal CandidateDetail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable handling financial and logistics processes Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask Team player with a proactive attitudeApplication Form
