Job SummaryAt Prevea Health. the Access One Registered Nurse serves as a critical liaison between referring and accepting facilities, ensuring efficient coordination and communication for patient consults and transfers into HSHS Wisconsin hospitals. This position requires advanced nursing judgment, strong telephonic triage skills, and proficiency in multiple systems to facilitate high-quality, timely patient care. The RN works closely with providers, nursing supervisors, registration staff, and external facilities to ensure smooth patient transitions and adherence to organizational protocols and is also responsible for handling initial triage for Prevea departments outside of regular clinic hours.
