Apply today!Job DetailsSummary Of Role:This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm MST/CSTThe Business Analyst serves as the liaison between business operations, product management, and software development teams to ensure business needs are effectively translated into software requirements and operational solutions.This role is responsible for supporting one or more Micro software products, including Accu-Trac and other business-critical platforms, by gathering requirements, documenting business workflows, supporting process improvements, and ensuring sprint-ready deliverables for development teams.This is a domain-focused role, with strong preference for candidates who possess direct cattle finishing feed yard operational experience and a working understanding of feed yard business processes, office operations, and customer workflows.The Business Analyst will work cross-functionally with product owners, development teams, customer stakeholders, and internal business teams to support solution design, documentation, and release readiness.Responsibilities:Business & Product PartnershipEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners, product owners, customers, and IT teamsServe as the liaison between business operations and software development teamsSupport one or more MICRO software products or functional workstreams as assignedParticipate in customer-facing discussions to gather workflow, operational, and business requirementsSupport product owners with business process questions, workflow clarification, and domain knowledgeRequirements & AnalysisLead requirements intake and discovery efforts with stakeholders and subject matter expertsConduct stakeholder interviews and information gathering sessionsDocument business processes, workflow diagrams, and current-state / future-state process modelsTranslate business needs into clear problem statements, business requirements, and functional specificationsDevelop and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and release documentationSupport backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and change control processesManage requirement changes and ensure documentation remains current throughout the project lifecycleAssist in business case development, research, and data collection as neededCross-Functional SupportSupport development teams by clarifying business rules, operational workflows, and domain-specific questionsSupport QA and testing teams from a business workflow and subject matter expertise perspectiveAssist in validating that delivered functionality aligns with intended business requirementsSupport release readiness activities and documentationAssist in customer issue investigation and problem statement developmentExperience:Minimum 3+ years of experience in cattle finishing feed yard operationsDirect experience with feed yard business workflows, including operational and office processes preferredExperience with livestock financial, accounting, or office management workflows preferredExperience using Micro software solutions, including Accu-Trac preferredEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Agriculture, Animal Science, Accounting, or related field or Equivalent combination of education and relevant business / feed yard operational experiencePrior experience in business analysis, process documentation, or product support preferredExperience working cross-functionally with software development teams preferredCore Competencies:Strong business process analysis skillsExcellent documentation and communication skillsAbility to translate operational workflows into software requirementsStrong reasoning and problem-solving skillsCustomer-oriented mindsetStrong interpersonal communication and collaboration skillsAbility to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and sprint-based delivery processes preferredEducation:Bachelor’s degree (in progress) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other related field.
