Lead Assembly Technician

Title: Lead Composite Assembly Technician OR Assembly Technician (2 roles open)Located: Anaheim, CAWe design and manufacture system-level thermal solutions, partnering with customers for over 20 years across aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and government R&D sectors.Our technologies support mission-critical applications ranging from spacecraft thermal management to precise temperature control in surgical environments, operating across extreme conditions from -150°C to 1,100°C.The Lead Composite Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, bonding, and finishing composite components while providing day-to-day leadership to technicians. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality production through hands-on support, workflow coordination, training, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, bond, and finish composite parts and subassembliesPerform secondary bonding, hardware installation, drilling, trimming, and sandingPrepare and apply structural adhesives per specificationsInterpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality requirementsComplete manufacturing documentation and support rework activitiesLead and mentor technicians, assign daily tasks, and troubleshoot assembly issuesCoordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain schedules and resolve problemsPromote a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environmentQualificationsAbility to read and interpret engineering and assembly drawingsExperience with hand tools, measuring equipment, and bonding processesStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailEffective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with adhesive bonding and surface preparation techniques preferredAbility to safely work with chemicals and adhesivesBenefits:Competitive payExcellent benefits: Medical, Dental, VisionStrong PTO + Holidays401(k) with matchingProfit sharingCompany paid life & disability insurance
