With a strong operational foundation and marketing support in place, the organization is investing in building a scalable, repeatable sales function to drive growth and expand market reach.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturersExecute outbound prospecting strategies including email, phone, plant visits, and networkingConduct discovery conversations and gather technical inputs for RFQsRe-engage dormant and former customer accountsOwn the front-end sales process and manage RFQ intakeSubmit complete RFQ packages to engineering and quoting teamsTrack opportunities, customer communication, and pipeline statusMaintain accurate CRM data and reportingConduct on-site visits, shop tours, and customer meetingsSupport technical discussions with engineering, operations, and procurement teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with repeat customersProvide weekly pipeline reporting and track key metrics (RFQs, pipeline value, win rate, new accounts)Help refine and scale the sales process as the function growsQualificationsExperience in manufacturing sales (tool & die, machining, sheet metal fabrication, automation, molding, or similar)Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage in engineering discussionsProven ability to prospect and generate new business (cold outreach, plant visits, etc.)Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple opportunitiesSelf-directed with a process-oriented mindsetStrong communication and relationship-building skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with OEMs, machine builders, or industrial manufacturersFamiliarity with RFQ processes and technical quoting environmentsExperience helping build or scale a sales functionCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: Competitive (based on experience) On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: Performance-based commission tied to revenue growthBenefits:Not specifiedAdditional Perks:Direct access to leadership and decision-makingOpportunity to build and own the sales processMarketing support for lead generationHigh-growth role with strong impact on company directionAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran's status.Applicants with a disability or a disabled veteran may request a reasonable accommodation if he/she is unable or limited in his/her ability to access job openings or apply for a job on our website as a result of his/her disability.
