You'll be exposed to all aspects of hardware and systems engineering working closely with firmware, mechanical, power and thermal engineers. Author and coordinate the creation of design guides and specifications for new designs as well as drive architectural direction for next generation devices/platforms and ensure feasibility of concepts for these productsSet standards and determine design targets for the product (cost, performance, reliability, etc.) Collaborate across all disciplines (hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, etc.) Proficiency in hardware design, analysis and debugging of complex printed circuit boards along with an understanding of the power, mechanical and thermal infrastructure around themExperience in computer architecture and designing with high-speed Interfaces such as Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), Double Data Rate (DDR) and EthernetStrong background in electrical or computer engineering and a solid understanding of server architectureExperience leading cross-functional engineering teamsTypically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; BS or MS in Electrical or Computer EngineeringIf you're looking for an opportunity to grow your career with some of the best minds and most advanced tech in the industry, we're looking for you.Dell Technologies is a unique family of businesses that helps individuals and organizations transform how they work, live and play.
