This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a lively community setting. *Responsibilities* * Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and active engagement in activities * Facilitate youth group activities, including games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational projects * Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and discipline when needed * Assist with classroom management and support teaching staff in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities * Maintain a safe environment by following first aid protocols and responding promptly to minor injuries or emergencies using CPR or AED as necessary * Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care aligned with best practices in childhood development * Collaborate with team members to plan and execute outdoor work projects, camp-style activities, or community service initiatives *Skills* * Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings * Strong classroom management skills combined with behavior management techniques * Knowledge of first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid protocols * Experience with special education needs and inclusive childcare practices * Ability to facilitate youth group activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and leadership * Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and positive reinforcement * Background in theater or performing arts is a plus for engaging children through creative expression * Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during outdoor activities or camp experiences * Effective team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and parents Join us as an After-School Program Assistant for Leopard Legends—where your passion for working with children meets the chance to create joyful memories while nurturing growth.
