Reporting to the Director of Development, this role assists with donor relations, event coordination, campaign execution, and engagement activities that support organizational growth and long-term fundraising goals.This position is ideal for a professional with 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or events who enjoys relationship-building, project coordination, and working in a collaborative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFundraising & Donor SupportAssist with the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and annual giving initiativesSupport donor cultivation and stewardship efforts through outreach and relationship managementMaintain accurate donor records, pledge tracking, and engagement history within CRM systemsGenerate reports to monitor fundraising activity and identify engagement trendsConduct donor and prospect research to support outreach strategies and pipeline developmentEvent Planning & Campaign CoordinationCoordinate logistics for fundraising and community engagement eventsManage timelines, guest lists, vendors, invitations, and event communicationsSupport annual signature fundraising events and donor recognition initiativesAssist with sponsorship outreach and special fundraising projectsCollaborate across departments to enhance participant and member experiencesMember Engagement & Relationship BuildingSupport strategies that strengthen community participation and donor retentionMaintain regular communication with members, volunteers, and stakeholdersAssist with engagement initiatives that promote recruitment and long-term involvementHelp foster a positive and welcoming member experienceMarketing & CommunicationsCollaborate on campaign materials, invitations, and donor communicationsAssist with print and digital content related to fundraising initiativesSupport website updates, recognition materials, and outreach publicationsCoordinate messaging related to events and engagement activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredApproximately 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, events, or community engagementStrong organizational and project coordination skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyExperience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platformsComfortable working independently while collaborating across teamsHigh level of professionalism and discretion with sensitive informationAdditional DetailsOccasional evening or weekend availability may be required for eventsCollaborative, mission-driven environment with cross-functional teamworkCompetitive compensation and benefits package, including healthcare, retirement options, paid time off, and commuter-related benefitsThis opportunity offers strong exposure to fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and event management within a collaborative nonprofit setting.We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
