Job DescriptionGPAC is partnering with a well-established, equity- and opportunity-focused nonprofit organization located in Lower Manhattan to identify their next Fund Development ManagerThe organization has a mission aimed at helping studentsfrom historically under-represented communities achieve post-secondary educational successThis is a Fundraising Generalist role that is Full Time and On-site and seeking candidates with the following qualitiesEntrepreneurialRelationship-builderResults-orientedThe organization is especially interested in candidates with a passion and a multi-million dollar track record of success as a frontline fundraiser in the areas of institutional giving, individual giving, events and/or creative marketing campaigns.This opportunity offers A high profile organization having a transformative impactA collaborative, mission-driven and joy-focused team Professional growth, including leadership trackThe opportunity to build upon existing fund development infrastructure / network of donors$125k+ and full benefits package Position SummaryThe Fund Development Manager will help the organization execute successful fundraising campaigns and relationship building opportunities with donors, corporations and foundations in the New York metro area and beyond.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive, plan and execute an ongoing fundraising strategy by mobilizing a base of supportersLead the implementation of creative marketing and fund development campaigns that cultivate a community of givingCreate a donor retention culture and work closely with leadership team and associated departments in managing all stewardship and cultivation activitiesEmbrace a data-driven fundraising and engagement culture which includes utilizing the organization's database / CRM platformLiaise with the finance and administrative teams to ensure all funds raised are stewarded appropriatelyCollaborate internally with marketing team to develop and disseminate all fundraising collateral, such as thank you letters, annual reports, appeals, etc.Role RequirementsMust embrace the organization's missionStrong interpersonal and writing skillsHave knowledge and experience in communications and fund raising techniquesBe organized and exhibit "follow through" on tasks and goalsSuccess in developing and managing successful fundraising campaigns from concept to deliveryExperience using fund development databases / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform(s)Preferred: Experience in educational, cultural institution/museum or social justice focused organizationsTo apply, use the link below or contact David Libert at david.libert@gogpac.com or 605.705.3106.
