Accounting Intern

Accounting InternUnder general supervision, is responsible for assisting in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical duties.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have some data entry experience.- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures, principles, practices and techniques.- Solid working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office products- Skilled in operating a personal computer and ten key adding machine- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations- Must be organized with ability to multitask- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Assist in account reconciliations- Assist in performing journal entries- Assist in maintaining files and records on all transactions- Must be a college student enrolled in an accounting or related field.
