Lead Systems Engineer

This organization is at the forefront of mission-critical technology, empowering its employees to deliver excellence in a collaborative and inclusive environment.The Role Support the development, integration, test, and verification of new and modified systems for a missionized Gulfstream G550 platform. Be responsible for requirements development and management, technical risk identification, system design, IV&V, certification, and liaison for troubleshooting and sustainment efforts. Communicate with internal leadership, external subcontractors, and customer teams to influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches. Provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans with measurable business impact. Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems, which will require working in confined spaces.What You'll Need Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 15 years of related experience. Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget. Strong understanding of engineering processes and policies, with demonstrated experience in Aircraft Integration, Test and Delivery. Significant experience with encrypted communications, flight deck missionization, Emissions Control (EMCON), and Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). An active DoD Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship, with the ability to attain a Top Secret (SCI) Clearance.
